FUSE FOUNDATION
FUSE Foundation (Yayasan Generasi Terang) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2015, under FUSE Jakarta which focuses on the early childhood education and development for the less fortunate across the Greater Jakarta Area. We collaborate with other non-profits in funding, curriculum composing, and teaching aspects for the schools that we nurture. We believe in consistent interaction and long term process to achieve a life-time impact, thus we use the adoption approach to the selected schools/projects. Members from different FUSE Jakarta satellites take turn in volunteering for their designated school. As of today, we have been supporting four schools with a total of 200+ students for 7 years.

OUR METHOD:
ADOPTION APPROACH
Most of the current social charity initiatives are only event based (Action Approach) and only produced temporary and limited results. As such, we believe making meaningful impact requires persistence and a long process. Therefore, we choose to adopt Adoption Approach to the schools we partner with. With Adoption Approach, we focus our activities and resources only on a few selected schools where we regularly visit and monitor the progress. Each FUSE Jakarta satellite takes turns to visit each partner schools every 2 weeks or once a month.

Donating your time is a great way to get first hand experience in helping underprivileged students get their early childhood education needs and have fund at the same time. You can also help us in supporting these schools’ financial needs; this could range from a simple cash donation
